In-Store Screens

showcase the benefits of smart home products

A leading DIY retailer in Belgium sought our expertise to develop an in-store application that educates and inspires customers about the advantages of smart home products. By blending digital tools with the in-store experience, we made it easier for customers to explore and understand these innovative products.

The Challenge

Customers often lack the information and inspiration needed to fully appreciate the value of smart home products. This retailer wanted to find new, engaging ways to educate and inspire customers, helping them better understand the benefits of these devices. Our goal was to create an interactive method for customers to ‘play’ with and explore the products in-store, allowing them to experience the technology firsthand.

Vision

We envisioned a solution that would let customers discover smart home products in-store through digital tools such as interactive tablets and augmented reality. By browsing the full product catalog, accessing detailed information, and trying out the products themselves, customers could gain firsthand insights into how these devices could improve their lives. The idea was to provide a ‘second layer’ of product information through a user-friendly app or touchscreen, inviting customers to engage more deeply with the products on display.

Solution

We developed an in-store tablet app that allows customers to explore, discover, and test smart home products more effectively than ever. Launched as a pilot in on of their stores, the application has already proven successful, paving the way for broader implementation across all the retailer’s locations. This new tool helps customers feel more informed and confident in their smart home product choices.
